When considering a photography appointment, please keep in mind - The best pictures are taken in an area where your child feels comfortable. Do you have a favorite park? Are they happiest in their play room? Would you like to see photographs taken in your back yard? A local swimming pool? Sessions can take up to 2 hours and will be booked at that. (Average times are between an hour and an hour and a half.) Please do not dress your child in stuffy, uncomfortable clothing. Austin weather is horrible at times... but most importantly I do not want to end up giving you photos of your child picking at their tight shirt, or adjusting the seat of their pants because they were uncomfortable in their cloths. Easy fitting, free flowing clothing is the best. They will spend less time fixing their clothes and more time giggling, talking and playing . Kids are naturally shy, so I need some time to get to know them, and allow them to feel that I am an OK person. If it happens that your child is not comfortable with me, we can and will reschedule with no added cost to you. child photography It has helped other children to bring a special toy, blanket, or book to the photography session.
